Our costs can vary widely depending on the type of work required, the size of the system, and your location, but most of our customers can expect to pay between $50 and $150 per hour for labor.
It’s generally recommended to have your HVAC system serviced twice a year, once in the spring and once in the fall, to ensure it’s running efficiently and to catch any potential issues early before they turn into larger problems, like leaks, for example.
These would include refrigerator leaks, faulty thermostats, clogged air filters, and issues with the compressor or blower motor.
Regularly maintaining your HVAC system twice a year, like we said, changing air filters, and addressing any issues right away can help extend its lifespan.
If the system is over 10 years old, has frequent breakdowns, leads to high energy bills, and is inconsistent and/or unable to maintain a comfortable temperature in your home, it’s time to replace it.
You can do basic cleaning and change air filters yourself, but leaks and other serious issues should be handled by our technicians.
